The CHBA and the CBA's Spanish Speaking Lawyers Committee have partnered with Project Safeguard to provide free divorce and allocation of parental rights clinics to Spanish-speaking victims of domestic violence.
Volunteer attorneys, paralegals, and law students help participants by explaining domestic forms and procedure, giving legal information, and providing referrals to free legal resources. No family law experience is required, but volunteers must be able to speak Spanish conversationally. The clinic is led by an experienced attorney, who provides support for new volunteers.
If you would like to volunteer or obtain more information about the clinics, please register online. If you have any additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The CHBA has partnered with Mi Casa Resource Center to serve small business owners in the Denver metro area with general guidance on issues such as business formation, basic contracts, leases, collections, and intellectual property.
To volunteer, please register. For more information, please contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please join us for a night of membership and theatre. CHBA will be hosting a membership drive at Su Teatro. You will hear from Judge Cynthia Mares, Judge Adam Espinosa, and Liz Krupa about their experiences as loyal CHBA members. Guests will receive $10 off CHBA membership dues. If you are a current member, the discount will be applied to your 2018 dues. Food will be provided. After the drive, please stay for opening night of “Divorcées, Evangelists & Vegetarians,” a play both tragic and hysterically funny about three needy women at the brink of self-destruction or complete madness. Food will be provided. First 30 guests will receive a free ticket to the play – a $20 value!
We look forward to seeing you there!
