Meaningful Pro Bono Opportunities with the
Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network:
For non-immigration attorneys: “how to” successfully take on a Pro Bono case from RMIAN
Individuals in immigration proceedings, even children and those in detention, are not entitled to court appointed counsel. Working alongside Volunteer Pro Bono Attorneys, RMIAN strives to end this inequity by providing free immigration-related legal services to individuals in immigration detention and to children throughout Colorado. Come learn about our work and the meaningful pro bono opportunities available to volunteer attorneys. No previous immigration law experience necessary!
Please join staff members from the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) and the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association (CHBA) for a presentation on current immigration law trends in Colorado, opportunities for pro bono attorneys to get involved, and the skills you need to be a successful pro bono advocate.
