Biography
Sonia Ramirez Anderson joined CHBA to help elevate the Hispanic community. She is dedicated to opening the pipeline for more diverse individuals to join and succeed in the legal community. To help open the pipeline, Sonia mentors diverse college students that want to go to law school through Judge Arguello’s Law School Yes We Can program as well as summer associates at her firm, Husch Blackwell. She is a member of the Judge Wiley Daniel and Judge Adam Espinosa Dream Team which is dedicated to mentoring grade school diverse students.
The CHBA recognized Sonia as its Outstanding New Hispanic Attorney of the Year for 2021. Sonia is also a 2020 graduate of the Colorado Bar Association’s prestigious Leadership Training Program (COBALT). Latino Leaders Magazine recognized her as a Latino Attorney to Keep On the Watch.
As an experienced management-side employment law attorney at Husch Blackwell, Sonia helps employers with a variety of employment related issues. These issues range from drafting employee handbooks to defending employers against claims of employment violations.
