CHBA & Redistricting in Colorado CLE: From Fighting Gerrymandering to the New Redistricting Commission

CHBA has long been at the forefront of monitoring redistricting efforts in Colorado and fighting gerrymandering in court when necessary. This special Hispanic Heritage Month CLE will feature CHBA members involved in historical and current redistricting efforts in Colorado. In particular, Regina Rodriguez from WilmerHale will discuss some of CHBA’s past court fights involving redistricting, Olivia Mendoza with All On the Line will discuss efforts to stop gerrymandering, and Amanda Gonzales with Common Cause will talk about the creation of the new Colorado Independent Redistricting Commissions and how CHBA members can apply to be members of the Commission. CHBA will seek 2 general hours of CLE for this presentation.
