CHBA & Learn Your Rights in the Community (LYRIC)

CHBA and LYRIC are hosting a CLE event for lawyers who are interested in assisting and teaching community members about their rights. The event will focus on providing attorneys with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively communicate legal concepts to non-lawyers, how the law and policing affect people of color, and how teaching LYRIC and explaining the law to BIPOC youth must be done in a culturally responsive and trauma-informed manner. The event will provide an opportunity for lawyers to network with like-minded professionals and to contribute to a more informed and empowered community.
