DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to share a last-minute opportunity for CHBA members to support the arts this Thursday at Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center! \n\n\n\nSu Teatro is a Chicano theater in Denver dedicated to telling stories that reflect community and cultural heritage\, and this event presents a great opportunity for CHBA to engage with and support that mission.This week’s show\, No Se Paga\, No Se Paga\, is a comedy set in a 1970s Denver barrio\, following two couples struggling to make ends meet—until their wives come up with a creative (and hilarious) solution involving hidden groceries and a “pregnant” belly. While it’s a farce\, the themes closely reflect challenges faced within the Latino community and resonate with the communities CHBA serves. \n\n\n\nCHBA will be covering the cost of admission for attendees\, and a soda and tamale will be included for each guest. \n\n\n\nWe will also have a small networking meet up right before the show starts in the saloon in the theatre with the Denver Scholarship Fund Organization! Come enjoy the show and make new connections! \n\n\n\nDetails:When: Thursday\, June 18th (TODAY!!) – Show starts at 7:30pm.
