2024 LCLD Pathfinders

Posted Apr 3, 2024

CHBA is thrilled to extend our congratulations to Maverick Flowers and Ashleigh Kaspari for being selected as 2024 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinders. This prestigious accolade is a testament to their unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and profound commitment to excellence in the legal profession. The LCLD Pathfinders program is designed to connect high-potential, early-career diverse attorneys from LCLD Member organizations with foundational leadership skills and relationship-building resources during a seven-month professional development program.

Ashleigh Kaspari is a Litigation associate in Crowell & Moring’s Denver office. Ashleigh’s clients span a wide array of industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and consumer products. Her clients turn to her for counseling and representation in state and federal court in complex commercial business disputes and other litigation matters, as well as in regulatory compliance before state and federal regulatory agencies. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Ashleigh worked as a criminal defense investigator for the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender. Ashleigh is active in her local legal community. Currently, she holds several leadership roles with the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, including board member, co-chair of the Charitable Contributions Committee, and a member of the planning committee. She is also a member of the Colorado Lawyers Committee Racial Justice Task Force.

Maverick Flowers focuses on a variety of complex business transactions and corporate matters. Working with Polsinelli’s team of corporate attorneys, he has extensive experience providing a full range of legal services to corporate and nonprofit clients, from advising clients on the tax consequences of various corporate and business transactions including corporate and partnership formations, private foundations, corporate foundations, schools and universities, supporting organizations, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. He also advises on initial structuring and participates in the preparation and negotiation of comprehensive deal documents. Each transaction matter involves developing and effectuating a strategic approach based on the client’s immediate and long-term business and operational goals. Utilizing his background in tax and nonprofits, as well as collaborating with attorneys from other related practices allows Maverick and the entire attorney team to provide clients with comprehensive legal advice designed to minimize liability, maintain flexibility, and advance the client’s objectives.
