Biography
As an experienced conflicts attorney, I work to detects, identify, and resolve relevant conflict issues. For the last 17 years, I have analyzed and resolved conflicts related to new and existing clients, new matters, and lateral hires for the entire firm, including recommendations for resolution, and assisting attorneys with drafting waivers to ensure compliance. Prior to becoming a conflicts attorney, I worked in criminal defense, civil, and commercial litigation and was responsible for drafting discovery materials, scheduling all aspects of a litigation case, and assisting with trial preparation of exhibits. What I enjoy most about my work is that I am able to identify and resolve conflict issues across many practice areas including litigation, public finance, business, real estate, and estate planning; this enables me to continue to learn about various practice areas, and the potential conflict issues that may, and do, arise across a variety of practice areas.
Education
University of Denver Sturm College of Law (JD '99) University of Minnesota (BA '96 - Political Science and Chicano Studies)
