Sean Benjamin Solis

Biography
Sean Solis represents clients in high-stakes internal investigations and in government enforcement actions involving the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He also advises his clients in developing mature corporate compliance programs to mitigate risk. In addition to his investigations and counseling work, Sean maintains a strong litigation practice. He has been the lead lawyer on several cases brought in state and federal courts, ranging from complex commercial disputes to class actions. An accomplished written and oral advocate, Sean was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2023 in recognition for his outstanding professional excellence in commercial litigation. Sean has investigated and defended numerous high-profile matters, both criminal and civil, involving alleged accounting and securities fraud, health care fraud, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). His experience spans a range of industries and includes representation of public and private companies in the energy, healthcare, technology, and consumer products sectors. Sean also devotes time to pro bono matters. He has served as cooperating counsel with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Colorado in representing the family of a deceased individual in a wrongful death civil rights suit. He also has represented immigrant children in the United States who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected in seeking lawful permanent residence.
