Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Melissa Meirink is currently accepting applications for a judicial clerkship beginning August 2027. The position is for a minimum of two years (to end in August 2029), but, based on the interest of the law clerk and at Judge Meirink’s discretion, it may become a permanent clerkship.
Applicants should submit the following electronically:
(1) cover letter;
(2) résumé;
(3) law school transcript;
(4) at least two letters of recommendation (may be sent separately); and
(5) writing sample of no more than 10 pages double-spaced (edited only by the applicant).
Applications may be submitted with only three semesters of law school grades, but the application should be supplemented with fourth semester grades when they become available.
