Biography
I am a Air Force captain and J.D. candidate at the University of Colorado Law school, attending school through the Air Force JAG Legal Education Excess Leave Program (ELP). Prior to law school, I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Foreign Area Studies, focusing on Latin American history with a Spanish minor. I was a Nuclear and Missile Operations officer at Malmstrom AFB, MT between undergrad and law school. I am currently involved in the LatinX Law Students Association, Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, Public Interest Student Association, Public Defense Student Association, Korey Wise Innocence Project Student Group (Vice President - Community Outreach AY 2026), Space Law Society (President AY 2026), and Military Law Society (President AY 2026). I am also a student volunteer with the Korey Wise Innocence Project, working on a team of two students and one staff attorney to screen applications from incarcerated individuals claiming innocence. We review court briefs and documentation to make a determination for continuing with post-conviction work. I am interested in defense litigation, administrative, regulatory, space, and policy areas of law.
Education
University of Colorado - Boulder Law School; United States Air Force Academy
