Biography
Amber Gonzales is the Immediate President of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association and a litigator at Crowell & Moring LLP. Amber has an extensive background in commercial litigation, compliance, and regulatory matters, and has advised clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 100 companies. Amber has experience in federal and state courts in matters involving class actions, health care, contracts, false advertising and unfair competition, trade secrets, torts, and complex commercial litigation. She also has experience representing clients in employment disputes, including before the EEOC and enforcing non-solicitation and non-compete agreements. Amber is a Denver native, and contributing to her community is of prime importance to her. This is Amber’s seventh term on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association. Her community involvement also extends to representing clients on a variety of pro bono matters, including drafting position statements, family reunification for asylum-seekers, and litigation resulting from the denial of requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Amber has received recognitions from Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and Latino Lawyers Magazine.
